Social Security Tribunal

As of April 1, 2013, the new Social Security Tribunal (SST) is responsible for appeals under the Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security Act.

The Office of the Commissioner for Review Tribunals (OCRT) is no longer hearing appeals. Appeals that were filed with the OCRT but not heard by March 31, 2013 have been transferred to the SST. The SST is notifying those involved in these appeals of their transfer and of next steps in the appeal process.

The OCRT will continue to make decisions on appeals that were heard before March 31, 2013. For these appeals please contact the OCRT.
